The Spirit world can't be explained by science because it is not a phenomenon that our senses can handle. God is a Spirit and we could never test Him through the laboratory. That's why Jesus, the second member of the Godhead(as he humbled Himself willingly) became man for us to have a glimpse of God. Satan is also a spirit as he is above any human being in nature as an angel. He needs to assume the forms of men to be able to reveal himself to us. He is the father of deception.
